Zoomcar complaints — common questions
Driver asked for extra money, took a long route or behaved badly — what do I do?
If you felt unsafe, call 112 first. Then report it in the app's trip help with the trip ID and a screenshot of the fare shown. Ride apps sell their service online, so the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020 apply: their Grievance Officer must acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within a month. Keep the UPI or cash receipt if you paid extra.
How do I file a complaint against Zoomcar?
Start with customer support in writing, so there is a record. Give your order or account ID, the amount and what you want (refund, replacement or repair). If it isn't fixed within 2 days, go to the next step: Grievance Officer. ClassicCase writes and sends each letter for you, free.
What if Zoomcar doesn't reply to my complaint?
Each step has a deadline. Company support: 2 days; Grievance Officer: 30 days; National Consumer Helpline: 30 days. When a deadline passes without a fix, you escalate to the next step — we track the dates and tell you when.
Can I go to the consumer court against Zoomcar?
Yes. Consumer Commission is the last step — you can file online on e-Jagriti without a lawyer. Claims up to ₹50 lakh go to the District Commission. Your letters and their replies are the evidence, so keep everything in writing.
Is ClassicCase part of Zoomcar?
No. ClassicCase is an independent, free complaint tracker. We aren't linked to Zoomcar — we help you complain to them in the right order and keep the record.
